Good Morning, Sunshine
Dry shake, wet shake, strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with 6 drops of rhubarb bitters, swirled (Brooklyn Hemispherical if you can still find them, otherwise Fee's).
- Lucien Galtier — Calvados, Cynar, Lemon juice, Simple syrup
- Starfish & Coffee — Bourbon, Aperol, Coffee Pecan Bitters, Lemon juice, Egg white, Blackberry preserves, Star anise, Grade B maple syrup
- The Smoked Rose — Blended Scotch, Aperol, Bitters, Lemon juice, Grenadine, Egg white
- AperoClive — Cognac, Aperol, Coffee liqueur, Peychaud's Bitters, Lime juice
- War Cobra — Bourbon, Reposado Tequila, Triple sec, Cardamom bitters, Absinthe, Demerara syrup, Lemon juice
Bourbon comes through nicely without dominating. I used Noble Oaks and would recommend using a similar premium bourbon. A more balanced and complex whisky sour worth trying.
