Build in rocks glass with 1-2 large cubes nearly filling glass. Stir.
- Made it in a shaker, stirred, to control dilution in advance of serving up in a cocktail (coupe) glass.
- Boozy but good!
- Didn't have Buffalo Trace, so used Jim Beam. Wil try in the future with BT.
- Oh-La-La — Cognac, Aperol, Peychaud's Bitters, Herbal liqueur, Lemon peel
- Italian Rivalry (aka Monte Old-Fashioned) — Bourbon, Cognac, Amaro Montenegro, Brown sugar, Lemon peel, Orange peel
- Alabazam — Cognac, Triple sec, Bitters, Sugar, Lemon juice
- Feingold — Brandy, Cherry Liqueur, Bitters, Orange cordial, Cherry
- Violet's Problem — Cognac, Crème de Violette, Crème de mure, Bitters, Grapefruit juice
Curated to reflect source link's instructions: built rather than stirred and strained. Minor point, no doubt.
Hey man, water is life! :)
