The Seersucker
Muddle one strawberry, shake, strain over crushed ice in a pilsner glass, garnish with another strawberry.
- Deceptively simple & delicious for it. Works best with syrup made from white sugar and lots of cinnamon, to better highlight the strawberry. Demerara sugar, cardamom, substituting with cinnamon liqueur, or using a sherry base - these all make for a more interesting cinnamon syrup, but for this cocktail specifically, the result tastes worse. — ★★★★★

As a note - I've been trying out all the cinnamon cocktails on here using Juliette Laroui's sherry-based cinnamon syrup. It's very distracting in this particular drink. You're rewarded for doing a basic white sugar cinnamon syrup here. More clarity.
