My Richard Hell and the Voidoids-inspired recipe that got me into the semi-finals for the Copper & Kings' MixTape national competition in 2016. The idea was perhaps inspired by a Champs-Élysées crossed with the Van Dieman from the Café Royal Cocktail Book.
- Bright, sour, some bitterness. Very lemon zesty.
- Tequila Sage Smash — Añejo tequila, Lemon, Honey syrup, Sage
- Spoke's Briar Rose — Bourbon, Cherry Liqueur, Herbal liqueur, Bitters, Lemon juice
- Clermeil — Añejo rum, Herbal liqueur, Allspice Dram, Lime juice, Maple syrup
- Rare Hearts — Cognac, Bourbon, Herbal liqueur, Cardamom bitters, Lemon juice, Vanilla syrup
- Gateway Sling — Bourbon, Averna, Cherry Liqueur, Lemon juice, Simple syrup, Brandied cherry
I thought the Chartreuse would dominate, but it works in nicely. Unique and bright.
