Count ITP
Stir the ingredients in an Old Fashioned glass full of ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Born to celebrate the (hypothesized) centenary of the original Negroni, but truly inspired by the Cardinal. The drink will be offered to the spectators of the "ITP for Negroni" concert by the punk band "ITP" (June 2019, in Lucca).
I take this opportunity to explain how I make the cocktails dedicated to the band: when I let them taste the musicians, for the drummer they are always all very good; the bass player always finds something wrong (and proposes unlikely variants); the guitarist always seems too sweet: so the only way is to do something bitter and ignore the bass player ...
- Aisy Uchanan — Gin, Cynar, Rosato Vermouth
- Cin-Cyn — Gin, Cynar, Sweet vermouth, Peychaud's Bitters, Orange
- Ligurian Sea — Gin, Cynar, Sweet vermouth, Absinthe, Water
- Herban Botanist — Gin, Cynar, Aromatized wine, Orange cream citrate, Orange peel
- Piglet's Lament — Gin, Sweet vermouth, Campari, Cynar, Elderflower liqueur, Grapefruit peel
Needs a strong Irish Whisky or it's dominated by other elements.
