Merry Widow
Stir, strain into rinsed coupe, garnish.
- Very gin forward drink. Would try it with a different gin than Tanqueray - maybe Tanqueray Malacca as the gin is very strong. Not horrible, but not my favorite.
- Added half a dropper of absinthe. A little flat otherwise. Less vermouth round 2.
- Price of Prudence — Gin, Aromatized wine, Dry vermouth, Honey Liqueur, Bitters, Lemon peel
- Atty — Gin, Dry vermouth, Absinthe, Crème de Violette, Orange bitters
- Suffragette — Gin, Dry vermouth, Cynar, Bénédictine, Lemon peel, Rosemary
- The Eyrie — Gin, Dry vermouth, Eau de vie of Douglas Fir, Herbal liqueur, Grapefruit bitters, Grapefruit peel
- Darkside — Gin, Chinato, Peychaud's Bitters
This was not created by Craddock -- it appears in Hugo Ensslin's 1916 book (with Peychaud's as the bitters):
