The International pre-batches "Lilletperitif" as 4 parts Lillet, 2 parts Cynar, 1 part Campari and used 1/2 oz in this cocktail. These instructions give rounded amounts for a single drink.
Stir with ice in old fashioned glass, serve.
Nice bitterness in the first sips. Bitterness decreases a lot with ice cubes melting.
Better use a huge block of ice.

Wanted a Last Word, didn't have Green Chartreuse. Did a little internet research, and found an interesting suggestion for combining Elderflower liquer and Benedictine as a sub. Added a bit of absinthe for that anise kick.

Dry shake, wet shake, strain into chilled coupe. Garnish with drops of Bittercube Blackstrap bitters in the foam, swirled with a cocktail pick.
Also works well with creme de framboise, Chambord, etc.

The Diplomatico Planas is a 6 year (filtered), 94 proof light rum, so it's of a significantly higher proof than most others in the category. As an alternative, you could use Bacardi Heritage 1909 (89 proof), use a 80 proof light rum split with a bit of Wray & Nephew White Overproof (though you'll get a bit of that Jamaican hogo), or 2.25 oz of an 80 proof light rum.
