Dirty yellow-green color, taste is hard to describe beyond "sour". Gin botanicals covered up (using Tanqueray). If you like gin sours and want to taste something different, maybe make this drink with 2oz or 2 1/4oz of gin.
Stir all ingredients, strain into chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with expressed orange swath.
One of the first cocktails I made after getting a bottle of Fernet Vallet. It's incredibly inky black color infuses every drink with a rich dark hue, hence the name (and a shout out to Alex Proyas' underrated "Dark City" flick)
Should that be "ciudad"?
Fixed, thanks. Zachary
My bad on the typo, I may or may not have had a few when I entered this one.
This is coming from someone who is finishing off his last bottle of mezcal and not really going to buy it much in the future, but I plan to try 1 1/4 oz tequila and 3/4 oz mezcal. Still good and Fernet Vallet is great
Shake, strain, coupe.
Gin and lime/ and other flavors/Now improved/ with minty savor/ Not a Pegu Club/Burma Shave
Thinly slice cucumber and spiral inside the Collins Glass, fill with ice. Add everything except the tonic to a shaker and shake. Strain into the Collins and top with tonic. Garnish.
To make the herb infused avage nectar, take 4-6 Pineapple Sage Leaves, 1 Sprig Rosemary add 3-4 Thyme sprigs. Put them in a jar and add 1/4 cup of boiling water and 3/4 cup of Organic Agave. Let cool and refrigerate overnight, then strain.
A creation made in New Zealand for a special girl and her taste for Gin.
Cleaned this up a bit - removed extraneous notes from the recipe. Clarified the instructions. In ounces, how much lemon and lime juice are you using here? 1/2 a lime and lemon is incredibly variable. Thanks, Zachary
Great question, thanks. I appreciate the touch up.
For specific measurement in regards to lemons & limes. Here in NZ, citrus definitely tends to be much smaller!
For Lemon juice, measure 1 oz. and lime juice, .75oz.

Shake with ice, strain into a cocktail coupe, and garnish with a cherry.
I became inspired by the John Wood in William Boothby's 1934 World Drinks and How to Mix Them that I had made years ago and decided to riff on it. The original was whisk(e)y and lemon, and the kümmel made me think of mezcal for the liqueur pairs rather well with agave. I also changed the citrus to lime and dubbed this one the Juan Madera.
Combine in a mixing lass with ice. Stir till chilled and fine strain into a chilled coupe. Top with Dole Whip foam and an edible orchid.
For Dole Whip foam combine 2 parts Dole Whip, 1 part pineapple juice, 1 part water and 1 to 2 egg whites in a blender. Flash blend till combined and smooth. Place in a whipping canister and charge with two nitrous charges. Shake well and use immediately.

Shake all but celery bitter with ice. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Spritz with bitters and garnish with pineapple leaves.

Stir, strain, rocks, twist.
I like the look of this, but what does it mean to stir a coffee bean? Is it muddled in the syrup first and stirred with the other ingredients?
Stir one unbroken, un-muddled coffee bean with the other ingredients and strain.
Combine all ingredients in a blender with 4 oz crushed ice. Blend until smooth and pour into a large glass or Tiki mug over more crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple leaves, dried orange wheel and pineapple wedge.
If you happen to have dole whip available to you, replace for the pineapple juice.

Someone suggested the name Gray and Rainy, I guess taking it as a riff on the Dark and Stormy. I don't know...
