Stir and strain. Express lemon oils atop and discard peel.
Altered from the Parisian Cocktail published by Harry MacElhone, which had more vermouth and less gin.
Lightly curated: paraphrased instructions to fix copyright infringement, added a little history and changed name to reflect origin more clearly.
This was the maiden excursion for a small batch of lavender bitters (tincture) I prepared. This is a good cocktail with all of the elements (including the expressed lemon) accounted for in the flavor and nose, but the 2.5 oz of Plymouth seems a bit much, pushing the alcohol and volume to the high side. When I make it again I will cut that to 2.
Stir. Strain. Orange twist in the glass.

I made this with Kina L'Aero D'Or given that the original was made with old-school Lillet rather than Cocchi, plus a grapefruit twist per Punch's spec. I found that to have a nice sweet-bitter balance. https://punchdrink.com/recipes/metexa/
bitter honey. very good
Muddle bluberries, add Mint, shake, fine strain, coupe, dash Boker's.
Good stir, strain, coupe, twist lemon peel, discard.
Stir, strain into old fashioned glass with a large cube or sphere. Garnish with orange swath.
Use any combination of Fernet adding up to 2 oz; I used two Fernet local to me in Chicago.

I vacillate between 1 and 2 dashes of the walnut bitters with this drink depending on my mood.

Wonderful combo of the Pineapple rum and the hint of smoke from the Mezcal
A bit sweet but spice is right and smoke makes up for it in the end.
Stir and pour over large rock. Garnish by taking short orange wedge, make two perpendicular cuts from flesh to peel, placing candied cranberry in orange and piercing both with a single skewer. For an extra flare on the garnish, add a strip of turkey gribenes (crispy rendered skin). This is a really unusual and interesting cocktail, and it falls completely out of balance if any of the ingredients are left out. I'm sure some substitutions could work, but others will leave it with an overly unctuous or even medicinal quality (for instance, I tried benedictine in lieu of the liqueurs, and it bombed).
Fat washing done at home by rendering turkey skin and fat. Allow to cool and place in aquavit for five days at room temperature. Place in freezer overnight. Drain and filter thoroughly.
