Le Negociant
Shake, strain, coupe.
Sources, e.g https://forums.egullet.org/topic/35558-sitting-down-with-a-byrrh/ say this is from the back of the Byrrh bottle.
- Campari Swizzle — Martinique Rum, Campari, Falernum, Chinato, Lemon juice
- Boardwalk Flyer — Cachaça, Bianco Vermouth, Crème de Banane, Bitters, Lime juice, Nutmeg, Mint
- Seeds & Things — Tequila, Suze, Falernum, Peychaud's Bitters, Lemon juice, Vinegar, Salt
- Aperitivo #2 — Barbados Rum, Sweet vermouth, Amaro, Lime juice, Tonic water
- Gilroy Cocktail (Rum variation) — Rum, Cherry Liqueur, Dry vermouth, Orange bitters, Lemon juice
The rhum makes this drink mellow, laid back, non pretentious in the best possible rum at the end of the day. Thought it was spot on.
Odd flavor profile, but it grew on me - maybe a bit too much lemon. I was using older Byrrh, so maybe that would make a difference.
