B.C. Liquor store Cocktail book
Curated this slightly - added instructions, cleaned up the notes section, which was duplicative of the ingredients.
Shake 1 cucumber slice and 1 rosemary sprig with tequila, simple and lime over ice. Strain over new ice into a Collins glass. Top with tonic, garnish with remaining cucumber and rosemary.
B.C. Liquor cocktail book
Curated this as well. Removed duplicate notes. Added instructions.
Stir, strain, Collins, top with soda, twist.
Also good à la Royale, with Champagne/sparkling wine instead of soda.
EGullet user Adam George's riff on my Old Giuseppe, with the Cynar and Punt switched and soda as the lengthener, described by him as a "super complex Americano twist." My original is 1.5 oz Punt e Mes / .75 oz Cynar / .25 Luxardo Maraschino, with an optional splash of Prosecco and a lemon twist.
Stir, strain, coupe, twist.
These are the PDT specifications; the original can be found in the source link.
Shake, strain, twist.
Other fruit eaux de vie would probably work here.
Very good. Used slivovitz aka blue plum eau de vie (Clear Creek brand) instead of Mirabelle, 1.25 oz instead of 0.75 oz.
Add cider, Licor 43 & lemon juice into a mixing glass--stir until combined. Pour into an ice filled tulip glass, top off with agua fresca, and garnish with a twist of lemon and a sprig of lemon balm
**To make the agua fresca: Cut up a seedless watermelon and throw it in the blender with the juice of 3 limes. Strain and chill. This is also great by itself as a non-alcoholic beverage
Shake & strain into a cocktail glass, garnish with a thinly sliced lemon wheel.
Delicious and refreshing on a warm summer evening--nicely sweet with a touch of complex bitterness.
