B Squared
Stir, rock, cherry garnish
- Very nice blend of amari! I don't drink whiskey straight, but I'm enjoying it in this drink as it is the right base spirit to blend with the complexity of the amari.
- Excellent, although no chocolate bitters used.
- A bit more medicinal than I expected. I suspect that playing with amaros and bitters makes a huge difference. I used ciocaro as suggested and 1 aztec chocolate and 1 cardamom bitters.
- Made with CioCiaro. Rich, in the 1794 neighborhood.
- Abano as Amaro
- Compared with B Cubed.
- B Cubed — Bourbon, Campari, Cynar, Bigallet China-China, Pastis, Bitters
- Ragtime — Rye, Ramazzotti, Aperol, Peychaud's Bitters, Absinthe, Orange peel
- Boulevardier (Stagger Lee) — Bourbon, Campari, Cynar, Orange peel
- Winter in Mayfair — Bourbon, Zucca, Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters, Bénédictine, Amaro Sibilla, Bitters, Demerara sugar
- Cryptic Memo — Rye, Ramazzotti, Campari
What Amaro do you recommend? I would think something not too bitter? Nonino?
For the amaro, I generally use CioCiaro. and Averna if I don't have that. :)
Hmm...This is intriguing . Will be trying tonight!
